What Shed charges, what is included, who prescribes, which pharmacy fills it, where it operates — and how much of that we confirmed ourselves rather than took from the website.
This is an independent assessment of Shed's tirzepatide program against our published 100-point rubric. It separates what the provider states from what we verified. No pricing, scoring or state data has been captured yet, so nothing below is presented as a finding. Verification status appears beside every field.
What is distinctive about this programme
Breadth of formulation, at a cost
Shed publishes compounded semaglutide as injectable ($175 on twelve months), microdose ($149), sublingual lozenges ($199) and liquid drops ($229), plus tirzepatide injectable ($245) and microdose ($199), and liquid drops ($229). No other provider in our dataset offers that spread.
The sublingual and drops formats deserve the standard caution: no trial has tested a compounded sublingual or orally dissolving GLP-1, and bioavailability for these formulations is unpublished. They are priced comparably to injectables that do have trial evidence behind the molecule and route.
Pricing increases at higher doses
Shed is one of the few providers in our dataset explicitly reported as increasing price at higher doses. That matters more than the headline figure: a patient starting at $245 on a twelve-month tirzepatide plan should establish what 10 or 15 mg costs before committing, because the advertised rate is the entry rate.
The two-month minimum and the brand markup
Several programmes carry a two-month minimum, which is milder than a twelve-month prepayment but still removes the option of a single trial month.
Shed's brand offerings carry a $125 membership required for brand access. The Wegovy pen at $199 medication becomes $324 all-in, and Zepbound at $349 becomes $474 — against $299 to $449 direct from LillyDirect with no membership at all.

Is Shed the cheapest option?
We will not answer that until the all-in figures are captured for the whole comparison set. A cheapest claim needs a defined comparison group, a stated program type and a capture date, or it is just an adjective.
Is this review sponsored?
No. No provider pays for coverage, placement, a score or a link, and providers do not see a review before it publishes.
Is compounded tirzepatide the same as Zepbound?
No. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products and there is no generic tirzepatide. Approval of the brand product does not extend to a compounded preparation.
