Medical and Regulatory Disclaimer
Written to be read rather than survived. If anything here is unclear, tell us and we will rewrite it.
This publication is general information, not medical advice, and does not recommend a medication, dose or provider for any individual. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products and there is no generic tirzepatide. Trial results are group averages, not individual predictions.
This publication is not medical advice
Everything here is general information for adults researching a category of medicine. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment recommendation, and not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician who knows your medical history. We do not recommend a medication, a dose, a titration schedule, a provider or a course of treatment for any individual reader, and no page on this site should be read as doing so.
If you are considering, taking, or stopping a GLP-1 medicine, that conversation belongs with a clinician. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services.
What trial results mean, and what they do not
Clinical trials report what happened to a group of people who met specific eligibility criteria, took a specific dose for a specific period, under structured supervision. A group average is not a prediction for an individual. Trial populations frequently do not resemble the reader, and results achieved with a defined comparator over a defined duration do not transfer to different circumstances.
Where we report a trial figure, we keep it attached to its population, dose, comparator and timeframe. Any source that gives you a percentage without those four things has given you a marketing line rather than a result.
Compounded medicines
Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products. The FDA has not evaluated them for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality, and approval of a brand-name product does not extend to a compounded version of the same active ingredient.
There is no generic tirzepatide. A compounded preparation is not a generic, is not therapeutically equivalent as a matter of law, and should not be described as either. Any provider or publication telling you otherwise is telling you something inaccurate.
Neither a pharmacy's state licence, its FDA registration as an outsourcing facility, nor any voluntary accreditation constitutes FDA approval of a compounded product. There is no such thing as an FDA-approved compounding pharmacy or an FDA-approved compounded medication.
Pricing information
Prices are captured from providers' published pages on stated dates and change without notice. A figure here is evidence of what was published when we looked, and nothing more. Verify current pricing, eligibility and state availability directly with any provider before enrolling.
Regulatory information
Regulatory summaries describe published rules as we understand them at the date shown, and link to the primary document. They are not legal advice. The regulatory position of compounded GLP-1 medicines is actively changing, and a page that was accurate last month may not be accurate today.
- This template ships without operative legal text on purpose. Counsel licensed in the operating jurisdiction must draft the privacy policy, terms of use and medical disclaimer.
- Privacy policy must state, specifically: what is collected, the legal basis, retention periods, processors, and the state-law rights available to readers.
- Confirm that no tool on this site collects diagnosis, symptom or treatment data. If any tool ever does, it needs a privacy and security review before launch, not after.
- Medical disclaimer must state that the site is educational, is not a clinician, does not recommend a medication or a dose, and that compounded medicines are not FDA-approved products.

When quoting a figure, include the capture date shown beside it rather than the date you read this page. A price without its capture date is not a usable citation.
