Methodology
Provider Ranking Methodology
The whole rubric, in public, with the arithmetic. If you disagree with a score, you should be able to point at the exact category and the exact missing evidence.
Providers are scored out of 100 across seven categories, each requiring defined evidence. Missing evidence scores lower than verified evidence — absence is never treated as neutral. No provider can buy points or placement, and rankings are recomputed when the evidence changes, not on a publishing schedule.

| Item | Points | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing transparency and all-in value | 25 pts | Verified |
| Clinical oversight and care continuity | 20 pts | Verified |
| Pharmacy traceability and quality disclosures | 15 pts | Verified |
| Regulatory clarity and consumer disclosures | 15 pts | Verified |
| State access and operational reliability | 10 pts | Verified |
| Cancellation, billing and support transparency | 10 pts | Verified |
| Evidence quality and data availability | 5 pts | Verified |
| Category | Points | Evidence required |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing transparency and all-in value | 25 | Published price page captured with date; every required fee itemised; plan total and monthly equivalent computed by us, not quoted from marketing. |
| Clinical oversight and care continuity | 20 | Named prescriber model, licensure disclosure, follow-up cadence, escalation and adverse-event pathway, continuity when a clinician leaves. |
| Pharmacy traceability and quality disclosures | 15 | Named fulfilling pharmacy or outsourcing facility, registration class, accreditation claims verified against the issuing body, testing disclosures. |
| Regulatory clarity and consumer disclosures | 15 | Accurate compounded-vs-approved language, no implied FDA approval of compounded product, clear risk disclosure, truthful comparative claims. |
| State access and operational reliability | 10 | State-by-state availability verified against the provider's own checkout or support confirmation, with capture dates. |
| Cancellation, billing and support transparency | 10 | Published cancellation route, refund terms, auto-renew disclosure, support channels and any published response-time commitment. |
| Evidence quality and data availability | 5 | How much of the above we could verify independently rather than accept as provider-reported. |
Rules that override any score
- No provider may purchase points, placement, or a review.
- Missing evidence scores lower than independently verified evidence. Absence is never scored as neutral.
- Provider-reported evidence is labelled as provider-reported wherever it appears.
- Prices are never compared across different program types. Starter, ongoing, maintenance, dose-tier, prepaid and month-to-month are scored separately.
- Microdose programs are never scored against standard-dose programs.
- Oral, sublingual and ODT compounded products are separated from injectables and carry an explicit evidence-limitation label.
- Raw category inputs and the arithmetic are published on every provider page.
- Rankings are recomputed when material evidence changes, not on a marketing calendar.
- No provider is preselected as the winner of any page, including NexLife (opens nexlife.us in a new tab).

| Step | Stage | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Locate the published price | The provider's own page or checkout, never an aggregator. |
| 2 | Capture with a timestamp | Screenshot or archive stored against an evidence ID. |
| 3 | Itemise every required fee | Membership, shipping, consultation, labs, dose surcharge. |
| 4 | Classify the program | Starter, ongoing, maintenance, prepaid or month-to-month. |
| 5 | Normalise to monthly equivalent | Our arithmetic, applied identically to every provider. |
| 6 | Second-reviewer check | A different person re-opens the source and confirms the figure. |
| 7 | Set a next-review date | The figure is marked outdated when that date passes. |
| Program type | What it covers | Comparable with |
|---|---|---|
| Starter program | Introductory period, often lower doses | Other starter programs only |
| Ongoing program | Standard continuing supply | Other ongoing programs only |
| Maintenance program | Post-titration supply, often a fixed dose | Other maintenance programs only |
| Prepaid term | Several months paid upfront | Monthly plans only after conversion |
| Month-to-month | Cancellable each cycle | Other month-to-month plans only |
| Microdose program | Sub-therapeutic dosing outside trial evidence | Other microdose programs only |

How a category is scored
- Show the scoring band for each category with the evidence that moves a provider between bands.
- Worked example with real inputs once capture begins.
How prices are normalised before comparison
- Program-type separation. Dose-tier handling. Prepaid to monthly-equivalent conversion.
- Cross-reference the pricing verification methodology.
What disqualifies a provider from ranking
- Paid relationship with us. Refusal to disclose the fulfilling pharmacy. Claims we can show to be false.
Changes to this rubric
- Link the changelog; a rubric change forces a full recompute, not a silent re-score.
- no entriesNothing has changed yet because nothing has been published yet. Entries appear here when a verified figure, score or conclusion changes, never for a typo fix.

When quoting a figure, include the capture date shown beside it rather than the date you read this page. A price without its capture date is not a usable citation.
