What PlushCare charges, what is included, who prescribes, which pharmacy fills it, where it operates — and how much of that we confirmed ourselves rather than took from the website.

What is distinctive about this programme
The cheapest membership in the category, by a distance
At $19.99 a month, PlushCare's membership is a fraction of the $74 to $149 charged by other brand-focused platforms. For a patient who wants clinical oversight alongside manufacturer-priced brand medication, that is the lowest overhead available in our dataset.
Zepbound at $299 plus $19.99 gives $319 all-in against $348 to $448 at Hims, Hers, Ro and Found for comparable brand access. The membership difference compounds: $240 a year against $1,788 at a $149 membership.
The initial visit fee is billed separately
A $129 initial visit fee applies and is not included in the monthly figures. On a first year, that is roughly equivalent to six additional months of membership, and it is the kind of one-off charge that sits outside most published comparisons — including, until now, ours.
Two listings are at retail level
PlushCare's dataset entries include brand Wegovy at roughly $1,000 medication plus membership, and brand Mounjaro at roughly $1,100 plus membership. NovoCare sells Wegovy direct for $349. Lilly runs no self-pay programme for Mounjaro, but Zepbound is the same molecule at $299 to $449.
The Zepbound pass-through pricing is genuinely competitive. The retail-level listings for other brands are not, and the difference between the two on the same platform is the reason to check the manufacturer before every purchase.

Is PlushCare the cheapest option?
We will not answer that until the all-in figures are captured for the whole comparison set. A cheapest claim needs a defined comparison group, a stated program type and a capture date, or it is just an adjective.
Is this review sponsored?
No. No provider pays for coverage, placement, a score or a link, and providers do not see a review before it publishes.
Is compounded tirzepatide the same as Zepbound?
No. Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved products and there is no generic tirzepatide. Approval of the brand product does not extend to a compounded preparation.
